UAE Onshore
Mainland companies are on shore entities which are licensed by the Department of Economic Development (DED).
Mainland represents the most austere and developed economy and as such it is an attractive opportunity for foreign investors to set up legal entities thanks to its varied business activities and operational freedom. Onshore companies are able to conduct business anywhere in the UAE and abroad.
Dubai mainland company registration is still the first choice for most organizations when establishing their business presence in the city. Depending on the type of business activity, additional approvals from related authorities may also be needed; moreover some activities require qualified people within the company to demonstrate competency before approval can be given.
Opening an onshore company entitles foreign investors to receive a UAE residence permit for all shareholders as well as their direct relatives (spouses and children) as well as being able to real estate.
